People in Egypt are very conservative yet welcoming. So in order to have a nice and welcoming vacation in Egypt you have to take care of some behaviors that might not be so familiar to Egyptians like:

-Be simple and not too revelaing in the way you dress. Most people in Egypt are very conservative with the way of dressing and in some rural areas they are not used to seeing a lot of skin. So cover up unless you're on the beach or in a coastal resort like Sharm El-Sheikh.

-You have to have a guide with you when exploring archaeological sites in the desert as you can get lost. Wear a hat or a scarf to protect your skin from the sun if you're visiting Egypt in summer and don't take photographs where you're not supposed to.

-For the ladies, sit beside other women on public transportation, enter the fisrt 2 cars on the metro as they're for ladies only and bargain for the amount you pay for the taxi driver when you take a taxi

-If you're visiting a Mosque, wear something to cover your hair and wear long and decent clothes. Also don't forget to take your shoes off before entering mosques, don't drink or smoke and respect mosques as they are scared places.

-Use common sense when using money, carry a lot of change to use when tipping and bargining amd don't carry a lot of money around or show that you've money
